Some weddings fill a venue. Some happen in a courthouse hallway on a Tuesday with two witnesses and a bouquet from the grocery store down the street. I photograph both the same way – paying attention to what is actually happening rather than arranging people into poses.
I am Natali, a photographer and video creator based in Round Rock, working across Austin and Central Texas. My approach is editorial and documentary: real light, real expressions, and the quiet moments between the planned ones. Photo and video from the same day, if you want both.
Courthouse and small ceremonies
Most couples getting married at the courthouse assume a photographer is not an option – too formal, too expensive, too much for something that takes twenty minutes. It is none of those things.
A short, focused session covers the parts that matter: waiting your turn, the ceremony itself, the signing, and a walk afterwards somewhere in the city. An hour is usually enough. You end up with the photographs that would otherwise not exist, because nobody thought to bring a camera.

Booking a full day
Getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, the reception – covered continuously, without pulling you away from your own day for hours of posed setups. We plan a short portrait window and the rest happens as it happens.

One straight answer, because it matters more than a sales line: the weddings I have photographed so far have been intimate – courthouse ceremonies and small celebrations. I book full days, and I work at that length regularly with events and brand shoots. If you want to see everything I have from a wedding before you decide, ask and I will send the whole gallery, not a curated ten.
Engagement and couples
Most couples I photograph on their wedding day meet me first at an engagement session. It is an hour or two with no schedule and no guests waiting, and it is where you find out how you look together on camera before the day that matters.
Bridal and editorial
Alongside weddings I shoot bridal editorial – how a dress moves, how light falls across fabric, how a bride looks in the moment she stops performing for the camera. This work is made with a bridal fashion brand, and it is where the documentary side of what I do meets a more composed, cinematic frame.

Not all of these are weddings. Some are styled sessions and editorial work with a bridal fashion brand – the dress, the light, the way two people stand next to each other when nobody is directing them. I am including them because they show how I photograph couples, which is the part that carries over to a real wedding day.
How a wedding day works
1. Tell me about the day
Where, when, how many people, and what you actually care about having photographed. I will tell you honestly whether I am the right fit.
2. Hold the date
I confirm availability and send a simple agreement. Some dates need a deposit to hold – I will tell you upfront, never as a surprise.
3. Plan the timeline together
We go through the schedule, the light, and the moments you do not want missed. Family group shots get a list so nobody is hunted down mid-reception.
4. The day itself
I stay close and out of the way. Direction when you want it, distance when you do not.
5. Your gallery
A private online gallery, fully edited, ready for web and print.
Questions couples ask
Do you travel outside Austin?
Yes. Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Hutto and the wider Hill Country are all regular ground for me.
We are only doing a courthouse ceremony. Is that too small?
No. Some of my favourite work comes from those mornings.
Do you shoot video as well?
Yes – short films and social-ready video from the same day, graded to match the photographs.
How far ahead should we book?
It varies. Sometimes the calendar is full months out, sometimes I have next weekend open. Ask.
We are not comfortable in front of a camera.
Almost nobody is, and it is not a problem. My work is built around presence rather than posing – you will be given something to do, not something to hold.
